A slimy visitor to Seaview

P.1, P.2 and P.3 had a slimy visitor on Wednesday morning; three Giant African Land Snails slithered their way into our classroom.

P.2 have been learning all about the 'ai' sound in phonics so they had great fun writing sentences about our super snails. Noah wrote: 'Snail is slow'. While Eoin-Lorcan wrote: 'Snails have a shell'.

We then spent some time carefully handling the snails and listening to some interesting facts!
